Duke of Edinburgh Award

As part of Scouting, you can work towards your Duke of Edinburgh Award. This can be started from age 14 and is commonly done so alongside Explorers.

Young Leaders

As part of your D of E, or as general volunteering, from age 14 you can become a Young Leader. This allows young people of all abilities to give back to younger sections by volunteering, learning new skills and developing leadership qualities. No matter whether you’ve been a Scout, Cub or Beaver, or are new to Scouting – any young person aged 14 to 18 can become a Young Leader.
